The Marshalltown cut-back notched trowel has a 10 deg cut-back on the notch edge of the blade for when you're working in corners and tight spaces. The aluminum alloy-mounting is riveted to a hard 11 x 4-1/2 in tempered steel blade and comes with a resilient soft grip DuraSoft handle that provides a soft feel and reduces fatigue. You have your choice of notch shape and size, as well as your trowel's handedness.
