Toggle bolts come with spring action wings and are intended for anchoring into hollow walls. The wing is designed to spread apart behind the base material upon installation for firm hold in hollow wall applications. The wing disperses the weight of the secured item over a larger area, increasing the weight that can be secured compared to a regular bolt.
